tomhardyvariations: I’m posting another scan of the Alasdair McClellan Vogue image because a) it’s slightly bigger than other (worthy) ones out there, and b) I worship this photo. Pay no mind…just my obsession with having the highest Q possible, even though tumblr can’t do it justice. I wish there was a kind of hypertumblr for huge images! Anyway: how brilliant is this photograph? I think McClellan is one of the greats, up there with Norman Parkinson and David Bailey. His work is infused with grit and poetry, and when that’s applied to a subject who is also full of grit and poetry, some kind of profound alchemy happens.
